The company is located in Verden/Aller in Lower Saxony in Germany and was founded by four cooperatives, which are owned by farmers and cattle breeders of the regions Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony.

With a total of 8.000 members and about 620.000 dairy and 20.000 beef cows, MASTERRIND has the largest herd book population in Germany and the second largest worldwide.

MASTERRIND GmbH produces high valued genetic products: breeding animals, semen, embryos and sell them to cattle owners and breeders in more than 50 countries worldwide.
